I've got

CPU: i7-6700K @4.00GHz
Motherboard: ASRock Fatil1ty Z170 Gaming K4
GPU: Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming G1 GTX 1070 8GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHz (2x8GB)
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750 G2
Cooler: Scythe Mugen 4

And lately my frames have been dropping in csgo. Even in games you would expect good results, like watchdogs 2, I don't get that much fps. The csgo thing really bothers me, I used to have around 300 all the time, now i get drops to 108 sometimes. What can this be?

If you are running the latest version of the Nvidia driver 430.39 it has been causing some issues, drop back down to the 425.31 version.

The only other thing I can think of is to have task manager open while gaming then check the CPU,RAM and GPU usage as soon as you have a drop in frames and see if any stands out. Also check to see if there is any other programs running that eat up resources.

If the computer is older then a reformat and reinstall of Windows is also a good Idea. I know if sucks to have to do it, but computer just sorta slow down over time and sometimes the best and easiest thing you can do is start over.
