I just installed my new 1070 ftw graphics card and on epic settings for overwatch I get about 85-95 fps. Is this right? is this normal? I thought this card was suppose to out perform the previous titan X which was the top of amazing. I used DDU to remove my previous nvidia drivers to make sure I got a clean install of the drivers for my 1070.
Does maybe someone have any clues why this could be?

cpu 4690k
gtx 1070 ftw evga
750 corsair power supply
16 gigs of rams

In some other similar cases I've seen the problem was a conflict between MSI Afterburner and PrecisionX running at the same time. Probably this is not the case for you.

During benchmarks how does the card perform?
Also I think it would help to know if you are gaming at 1080p, 1440p or 2160p.

I've never installed afterburner and don't know about precision X. Gaming at 1080p

Personally I don't play overwatch but from what I've seen 1070 can easily achieve 120 at 1080p and max settings. That said, your bottleneck can be your cpu or some other program that takes cpu time.

Have you run any benchmarks like Heaven, Valley or 3DMark? How does the card perform during these benchmarks? If it performs great during other games or benchmarks then the problem could be with the driver.
