fps locked at 30

I have a asus r510jx the first game I played bo2 multi I got 140 fps on high but then after updating the laptop I am getting 30 on all setting I tried benchmarking hitman that too showed avg fps of 30 plz help I want to remove my fps lock

Check if you have V sync ON and disable it.

Also make sure your gpu driver is up to date

Go to your battery settings and check what power plan did you select. If you selected power save your fps is automatically locked at 30. Select high performance if you want, well, better performance
