Discussion FPS mouse - any recommendations?

I'd like a gaming mouse for First Person Shooters (FPS). I have no limit to my budget on this one, but would like something well made that does the basics really well. I've seen a lot of people's reviews where quality of some of the highest recommended ones isn't too great and they've broken. I have average size hands. I doubt I need one with 20 buttons on and I don't mind wired if that's the best bet too. Cost isn't an issue, I'd simply like the best recommendation. Thoughts?

I have a Razer Deathadder Elite and I like it.

I had one over ten years ago. I eventually wore it out, got out of gaming for a while. I’ve used other mice over the years including one of Logitech’s nicer wireless models for FPS.

Last Christmas the Razor DA went on sale for cheap.

It was like coming home again. Simplistic with a great feel in the hand. Hard to beat a classic.
