If you want a little cheaper, the Gigabyte 970A-UD3 is good, and the ASUS M5A97 EVO is good.

The problem with poor power delivery, is you'll get horrible frame drops and stuttering, since the CPU will be choked for power.
You REALLY need a better motherboard. That thing has horrendously poor power delivery, and no VRM cooling whatsoever. This is not good at all for an 8-core CPU. You're going to be choking the CPU which will lead to noticeable frame drops all over the place.

That said, you could get 60 FPS with High settings in BF4; as many FPS as you want in Minecraft lol; Have no idea what COD you're talking about, Advanced Warfare will run great; 45 FPS in High in Far Cry 3 and 4 (be sure to turn off mipmaps and set your GPUframesbuffered to 1)

You really need to learn how to tweak for the best result.

I recommend learning how to use "Dynamic VSYNC" in RadeonPro. For example if you get annoying screen tear then tweak so you stay at 60FPS (for 60Hz monitor) about 90% of the time. If you drop VSYNC will turn off.

You should never use VSYNC if you frequently drop below the target (i.e. keep dropping below 60FPS for 60Hz monitor). That causes stuttering.

what kind of mobo do you think i should get for the 8 core cpu?
