I bought a Define R4 on sale for a gaming build and now I'm trying to decide on the CPU cooling. Initially, I was planning to do a 120mm AIO and mount the radiator in the rear, but I now realize it isn't officially supported.

One I'm looking at now has a 29mm rad and two 25mm fans, the other option has a 27mm rad and one 25mm fan. Does anyone know if it would fit? If not, would it be an option in the front with the larger drive cage removed? And if no to both, what would be a quiet CPU heat sink?

P.S. It's an AMD AM3+ chip on a ATX board.

Motherboard mosfet's and VRM heatsink tend to almost always get in the way of cooler compatibility for a case(and seemingly perfect system builds while choosing parts) and to that I'd ask you to pass on your full systems specs.

but I now realize it isn't officially supported.
I'm not quite sure what you mean since

^ that's an Alphacool Monsta 120 radiator if you're wondering so any 120mm push pull configuration is possible, IMHO.

This is pretty much a yes then, haha. I just wasn't sure if there was clearance in the case, since Fractal didn't explicitly say (unless I could find it).

I ended up playing it safe and putting in a Hyper 212 Evo, and it worked out fine with it still being very quiet. Thanks for the reply!
