I've been recording and today I was very pissed to notice that an hour session I recorded of playing L4D2 with friends, none of their voices were picked up.I had to trash the whole project, and after multiple trials, the audio still won't pickup. HOWEVER, my voice is clear and audible like ever. Help, please.

Make sure you are recording the system audio as well (it's a setting to enable in Fraps) and if that doesn't work check your sound drivers and see if there's anything disabled or not functioning (located in Control panel, Sound) and if all that don't work, get a new/buy your first sound card to record every audio.

I use Fraps with no problems, and record and full setting, Xsplit is good too but Fraps is the most light weighted, smallest powerful program out :)
Search their differences.

Nope, doesn't work. And I got a new card recently, and it was working fine like yesterday.

can you some how screen shot each tab of your fraps to see what's different between mine and yours and upload them, i could help you better that way.

Maybe Skype is the issue then?

You could try another service, like Dolby Axon: https://axon.dolby.com/

It has some cool features like when you're in a group chat room, it literally makes a 3d (audio) room, and you can move your "person" around to different parts of the room and change the way your voice is projected, so you can have some friends coming in primarily/only on your left ear and others on the right. It can also sub divide the rooms into 2 or 4 so you can all be in the same chat room but place yourselves in separate sections so you only hear what's going on in that section and if you want to hear another section you just drag your little icon over to the other room.

It's free as well, just have to register an account.

Try the multi-Channel option on that tab.

If not put down the fps to 60 or 30 as if you're going to upload to YouTube, it will be limited to 30 fps anyway.
