Good job of smoking out the poser. However, instead of just deleting his posts, let them be seen, along with why the UID is banned. It would just build confidence in the Board.
THF has/had a good following in Delphi, too bad they could not police themselves.

That sounds like a good idea. You can have a section showing what you should do if you want to get deleted.

Well, for now we move whole threads out of the view to a closed area if we think they don't match hmmm errh the criteria :)

Single posts needs to be deleted though, to keep the thread intact. Replys to such moved posts would be moved too. So I think deleting posts is the better option.

I am counting on a somehow self regulating community. It's almost impossible to keep track of everything and it's drawing resources from the Tom's Hardware Guide Team.

I am certain we will have a fine tool here if people stay reasonable. So I am counting on the long-term and professional members to keep the spirit and atmosphere.
