Freesync not enabled

I was messing around in the menu of my Acer XR341CKB and in the information it used to say the mode it was in was "Freesync" and now I cannot find a way of getting that back as it now says "normal" anyone know how to re enable it ?

Freesync is only supported across Display Port, so make sure you're using that.
And make sure its enabled in the AMD Radeon Settings dashboard

I am using a display port and have it enabled in the catalyst and have so for a while its just today while messing around in my monitor OSD it used to say "freesync" in the information now it says "normal" and it was from me accidentally resetting the OSD so wondering how to fix it

Ah ok, misunderstood, sorry

I do have an Acer monitor, different model though, I dont recall ever seeing that option in the OSD about freesync, but I'll double check when I'm out of work and see if I can find anything.
Other than that, I cant be of much help sorry. Hopefully someone else has some info

Thanks man yeah hopefully just freaking me out because I don't know now whether it's even actually enabled on the monitor or not.

I solved the issue I had to disable freesync in catalyst and unplug my Display port and reset the monitor again
