I've been experiencing freeze and black screen on my pc
Some game not having any issues but others being heavier on the system like Witcher 3, red dead redemption 2 or borderlands 3 all crashed the same way. Basically what happens is the the screen freezes, no input works, then it goes black. If i close my monitor it makes sound has if im unplugging and plugging a peripheral into my pc. Once the screen turns back on, im out of the game and on my desktop with error messages like the gpu having issues or just the game having errors just because.
It didnt happen with my other old cpu and old motherboard.
To solve the issue I've tried upping the power limit of my gpu, maybe it didn't have enough, no change. i tries also resetting my windows and running a ram diagnosis, but it did nothing. Im bad at diagnosis for pcs and I'd really need help with this one. Anyone knows what could be the problem?
Cpu : Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler
Gpu : gigabyte aorus 1080 ti extreme edition
Psu: evga 1000w gold
Motherboard: msi B450M PRO-VDH Max
Ram: 2x16gb 2133mhz aegis
Storage: 2 samsung ssd 1tb+250gb
4 case fans
