Frequency vs. Timings

I have been looking to buy 2 512MB DIMMs for my new system, and have narrowed the choice down to two models, both availible locally. I am trying to decide between the Corsair XMS3200, which has the best timings at 2-3-3-6 and the OCZ PC3700 Premier Series, which has a better frequency but worse timings at 3-4-8-4. I am not planning on overclocking right away but I am building the system so that I can later as needed. Is it worth getting the higher frequency RAM at the expense of timings? Both sticks can be had for about the same price in my area, and both should work with my P4P800 motherboard. Suggestions?

timings do not matter anymore: an increase of 3 mhz with relaxed timings will beat 3 mhz less with tight timings, check tomshardware article on ddr 500, everything is explained

corsair has been having problems with the p4p800...if you can go for kingston hyper X or get the ocz stuff...at 400mhz it should default to low timmings...

Since your p4 with dual channel mem cannot effectivly use more than 6400mb/s (2,4 or 6 pc3200 sticks in dual channel yeilds 6400mb/s bandwith) frequecny just got thrown out the window cause it's not gonna do a thing to help in this situation...
