Hi,

Firstly, I couldn't find a solution for the issue that my front panel has (possibly damaged from shipping). The issue I have is that if I go into the "sound" window that shows playback, recording, sounds and communications respectively, under the "Playback" tab my headphones appear and reappear as if they are constantly being unplugged and plugged back in every few seconds. Secondly, my headphones won't register in the front panel when plugged in and enabled in "Playback".

Also, if I don't disable the headphones in "Playback" even thought nothing is plugged in, sound from my speakers will cut out therefore on start up I am required to disable the headphones every time.

(I don't want to reformat my pc again as it's wearing my ssd as I've reformatted 4-5 times) - I also have not installed the realtek driver

Here are my specs:
CPU: i5-4670k oc@4.0Ghz
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 oc@1259Mhz
Sound Card: ~~
RAM: corsair vengeance oc@1866 MHz
Monitor: ~~
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H
Power Supply: Corsair RM650
Case: CM Storm Stryker
Hard Disk Drive(s): 1: Samsung SSD 840 EVO, 2: WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Keyboard: CM Storm Trigger
Headphones: Audio Technica: ATH-AD700

Front panel audio is a wire that runs from the front to a plug on the motherboard. Red arrow on this picture. Pull that connector out and you will have disconnected your front audio ports. If that fixes the issue, then contact the case manufacturer's Customer Support for assistance in resolving the issue.
