Just built an i7 system:

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate x64 Sp1
Case: Antec p180
MB: Gigabyte EX58-UDR3
CPU: i7 920 2.66GHZ
GFX: Zotac 296 GTX
RAM: 6GB Kingston DDR3 1333
***Sound***: Creative PCi-e Sound Blaster Fatality Titanium Series (This does have FP Connections)

Okay so I got all the updated drivers installed, BIOS Flashed. And I am still getting no sound from the Front Panel. I have the Front Panel connected straight to the back of the card where it IS clearly labeled FP_AUDIO, and yet still not sound. Any ideas. I have even disabled the On Board audio (ur suppose to do that..xD), Still no sound.

Vista Sound management shows the device as working, and the audio read out is showing activity, BUT NO SOUND!!!!

Any ideas???

****ANSWER****

I just got off the phone with Creative. And to use this card WITH Front Panel, YOU MUST buy one of their drive bay front panel devices. This is straight from creative support. Also as a side note, this card I have DISABLES ONBOARD AUDIo rendering the motherboards ability to utilize Front Audio USELESS.

Hopes this helps.

Thank you for anyone who researched it.
