New build today with a Ryzen 5 1600X. Very excited to get it up and running, but motherboard (PRIME X370 Pro) keeps giving speaker error beeps saying no RAM is installed. It booted initially and I viewed the BIOS screen for about 30 secs before freeze, same thing happened for about 3 more boots, and then error started happening. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: now thinking that the error beep code is not the missing RAM error (not 1 continuous, 2 short) but instead 2 groups of three even-length beeps

Just tried reseating. Made sure that no pins were bent and that the 24 and 8 pin cables were in properly. Faulty motherboard??
Also: how can I tell a motherboard's pre-installed BIOS version??

Yeah, BIOS version is fine. But beeping still there after taking everything out and re-fitting. Should I head back to the shop and exchange for a new one?

Ended up taking the parts back, the CPU was faulty, got a new one, all fixed. Thanks for the help!
