win xp pro corp
xp3200
msi kt7 MB
kingston 512 mb ddr 400
samsung 80gb hd

anyone ever come across this BSOD in XP Pro? its a 0x7e stop error that
references the fs_rec.sys driver. (file system reorganizer driver). It
only happens when I do a chkdsk /f at bootup and always ref-s the same
file. I think it may be software related, but not sure. the ram,cpu and
MB are all brand new. the HD is to and passed samsungs HD diagnostic
utility. ive also turned off the swap file thinking it may have
sonething to do with that, but still get the bsod. anyone know the cause
and solution?
TIA
Brian
