how can i make sure FSAA and AF are disabled?
i have a ATI Radeon 9800 pro i used to have a GF4 ti4200 and im not seeing any improvements maybe because that FSAA and AA are set high. in the options i can only set it to
2x,3x,4x etc. or "application preference". but in a game like ut2003 how can i set these to off.

Use Aplication Preference and it is disabled until you enable in the game your playing.

P4-2800->FSB800, Asus P4P800, 512DDR-400, Radeon 9800 Pro - 128Mb

if you can't turn it off or on ingame, then it's probably off by default

Another thing you might want to try is to make sure that you have completely removed the old Nvidia drivers from you system, as they can cause conflicts and performance slow-downs when you change cards.

A fresh O/S install is best, but can be a pain in the A$$, so if you don't want to do that make sure you uninstall the Nvidia drivers from your control panel, then run something like Nv Nasty File Remover, or Detonator Destroyer...you can get those files over at guru3d.com
