can some please help me I am new to building a comp. In checking out different mother boards, different front side bus values are on diff boards what is front side bus and how does it affect the comp?
hi. the fsb is one of the most important features of a motherboard. it is how fast data is transferred from one point of the mainboard to the other. higher value faster transfer. i would buy the abit KR7A-RAID with pc2700 memory. once overclocked your fsb would be 337.5mhz. matching the memory frequency. or you could go with the p4. 400mhz fsb but i bet the system wouldn't be as fast as the amd with the abit KR7A-RAID and 2700 ddrram. overall that is.
