I just bought this camera and there’s something wrong with the flash. Every time I take a picture with the flash on, it turns out either white or dark as if I didn’t have the flash on. Did someone have any similar problem?
If you know how to solve it, please help me.

Does the flash fire when it is supposed to?
Battery fully charged?

How much did you pay for this? It is around 15 years old.

but the picture turns out like completely white or dark
Used devices are sold "as is" and there is 0 expectation for them to work like brand new. Let alone when the camera itself came out 15 years ago.

Could be, that it was sold for parts, or seller deliberately hid the issue the camera has. Instead, wanted to get rid of it.

I would not sank any more money into it. Instead, i'd go with brand new pocket camera to use.

The camera in any current mobile phone is miles better than that 15 year old Fuji.
True, but phone can be tracked. Standalone pocket camera doesn't connect to the internet (or RF network) and is "safe", with no worries of pics leaking.

I liked this camera because it has the same vibe I’m looking for
👍

But there are surely more modern pocket cameras that give the same vibe? :)
