full screen

for some reason or another everytime i want to play a game my full screen
mode is now off centre with a 2 inch black stripe up left hand os screen, can
anyone help me put it right?

What kind of monitor do you have is it a CRT (big one) or a TFT (a thin
one)?

If a CRT use the monitor's on screen controls to adjust the size and
location.

If it's a TFT, try changing resolution (in the game settings) and looking
for an option to stretch the image within the driver options (right-click an
empty area of desktop - go to properties - then to settings and advanced -
depending on your graphics card it could be located in any of
driver-specific tabs).
