[SOLVED] fuming 5800x temps

So i was getting really bad temps for my 5800x so i bought a new cooler the h115i. Ive never installed one so i had a shop do it for me. Its mounted fine and looks good but the temps are the same do i need to change the profile in ICUE or not?? When i asked what he tested temps in he said he streamed some videos?????????????? then i look in my search history and he was watching Coldplay music videos on repeat???????? am i being trolled.

87C on cinebench but i think the fans a running slow

That isnt bad for 5800X.
It runs hotter than the previous generations,which i believe would run at 30-35 C on idle.
I dont think you have a overheating problem.
Cinebench is one of the most demanding things you can put your cpu into,so if isnt exceeding 95-100C in cinebench,i wouldnt worry in the slightest.

Higher temps mean Zen 3 can boost higher and longer.

The bigger the cooler, the higher it will try to boost, thus more performance. The thermals are within spec.

Which H115i? There's like 5 different models, and one of them really sucks - ok, too strong of a word... it isn't quite as good as the other H115i models.

I’ve always found listening to coldplay to be very demanding.

i’m interested to see the result of this, as i have a 5800x and a H115i RGB platinum coming lol
