Hey everyone Im laying out a new build for my new gaming pc. I really am aiming to do a thematic purple/black build. I think its a more unique color scheme and well purple is my favorite color. Here are the parts I have gone ahead and picked out so far:

Case: NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case (blue and black version)
I am planing to paint the blue pieces purple and possibly either sharpie or painting over the NZXT logo black fyi. It is pre-built with white leds but a switch in the back will turn them off.

Motherboard: MSI X99A GAMING 7 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 10 x SATA 6Gb/s ports

Why is every motherboard either black/blue, black/red, black/yellow, or brown/black? Most of the red on this one will be covered my the gpu so its not too bad.. If you have any ideas on covering the red at the top please let me know. Painting is NOT an option here.

GPU: EVGA 12G-P4-2992-KR GeForce GTX TITAN X 12GB 384-Bit PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Superclocked
So my intention with this build is to create something that will last for a very very long time. My old build is 2 years old and well while it runs great, I really didnt think of my needs later on. Im going to start with one of these guys but build they system to be able to handle 2 of them so eventually I can pop in another 2 years or so down the road and still have a new kickass machine that will run whatever is new 2+ years later.

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4-21300) Desktop Memory Model F4-2666C15Q-32GRR
Just going to remove the heat spreaders and paint them with thermal paint. No big deal here.

Hdds: 2x WD BLACK SERIES WD2003FZEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
1x Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
1x SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 2.5" 250GB SATA 6Gb/s 1x nm Samsung Toggle DDR 2.0 3-Bit MLC NAND Flash Memory (400Mbps) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Fans: Replacing all the stock fans with Corsair Air series fans with purple LEDs. The 2 on the cooler are static pressure series and the other four (3 intakes and rear exhaust) are air flow series.

Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 RL-KRX61-01 280mm All-In-One Water / Liquid CPU Cooling Solution
Clear pipes???

PSU: EVGA 220-P2-1200-X1 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Full Modular Power Supply

What a really need some help with (some of which I mentioned above) is this:
1.) Red on the motherboard needs to change somehow if possible

2.) Is there a way to change to color of the GTX logo?? I know you can scrape the green of the logo and that will make it white; is there something I can do to give a purple appearance?

3.) CABLES! Finding purple cables (that are not uv aka bright almost whitish purple) is proving to be very difficult. I have found a place that sells purple sata cables so I got that covered but Im still looking for everything else. They can be either cable covers or actuall purple cables but I need ones for basically everything that attaches to my PSU.

4.) Ive never done water cooling before. I know the basics but still very new. Ive seen UV water cooling liquid before; how do I go about putting something like that into the system? Almost all the coolers I have seen have black pipes that obviously not see-through. Is there a mod for this?

Thanks for the help guys if you have any input at all please let me know!

If you want to change the tubing and liquid on the cpu cooler i would go with something like a Swiftech H240-x. As far as the custom cables go you could go with something like mainframecustoms if they have the shade of purple you are looking for.

So Im beginning to notice that the colored water and pipes are mainly for an entire water cooled system with pump and reservoir not for a single cpu cooler.

Great find on the cables!! Perfect color exactly what im looking for. Unfortunately, they dont have sata or molex power cables :/ know of anywhere lese that might do them?

I have thought of another question:
If I go towards a fully water cooler system, what would be a good combination of water cooler cards that I can run in either 2 way or 3 way sli?
Is it worth the extra money to water cool the cards (price of the blocks, pipes, etc) or will 2 fan cooled titan x run fine and cool even under load?

Full loop water cooling will give you slightly higher overclocks and will be a lot quieter under load. But its quite an investment and requires a bit more maintenance than an AIO liquid cpu cooler or air cooling. I don't think the cost justifies the very little performance gain you get from it and its more for looks than anything. You can look up Jayztwocents on youtube and get an idea of what all you will need and what to expect.

If you dont want to go the custom loop route and still want a liquid cooled card and are not heart set on the titan x, this is a good option. Its only a GTX 980 but if your case is big enough you could sli two of them. They should overclock like a champ too.

alright so I think I will just stay with fan cooling and a radiator while I have one titan. IF/when I get another what would I need to convert to water cooling? I know I need the cooler, pump, pipes, and blocks. Am I missing anything and will it all fit in this case?

Also any ideas for that red on the motherboard?

EDIT: I just say your post on the 980 gtx. Thats a great Idea I forgot about those. Can you answer the above question for reference though if you dont mid. Great Idea great idea

For a full loop you would need a cpu block, gpu block, tubing, pump, reservoir, radiators, fittings and coolant if you not using distilled water. EK water blocks makes a kit that makes it a little easier.

I also just noticed i didn't answer one of your questions. Yes if you decide to go with a custom loop in the future it will all fit fine in your case. That case can support up to two 360mm rads or a combo of 120's, 280's 140's etc.

So I was thinking about how I would run all the cables, what cables will be showing so what needs coloring and I was wondering; will the radiator/fan on the 908 hybrid reach the front of the case? The case will support a max length gpu of 406 mm. The 980 is 206.7 mm long and the cable doesnt seem to go much further than the gpu itself. I wanted to put one of the radiators in the top front intake and the other in the bottom front intake leaving the middle 2 hdd bays in with the center fan there to cool those. I really dont think the tubes are long enough. Do extensions exist for this kind of stuff?
