Wasn't 100% if I should ask this in Systems or here, sorry if I chose wrong.

Anyways, I'm a freelance video editor, and while I am usually at home to work, there are occasions where I will be gone for a week or so to visit family or whatever, and up until recently, I would force myself to work on my Surface on such occasions. This worked somewhat, but it was always a pain since it really just doesn't have the hardware for it.

I recently discovered however, that working remotely via Parsec is actually a really good solution to my problem, as there is virtually no noticeable latency for me. Now my only issue is, if I'm gone for a week or however long, I really don't want to have my PC running for the entire time. I want to be able to turn it on and off remotely. I thought there was a setting in the BIOS you could enable that would have the PC turn on when it gets power, meaning I could just hook it up to a smart plug and turn that on whenever I need to work. Having looked through the BIOS though, the only thing I could find that remotely resembles that feature is the setting to have it turn on after power loss, and to be honest, I'd rather not turn off my computer by basically pulling the plug every time lmao.

Is there maybe a setting I'm missing somewhere? Maybe any completely different ideas for solving this?

Hardware:
-Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wifi)

(not sure how important everything else is, but here it is anyways: )
-CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
-GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3080
-PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 850W Gold
-RAM: 4x16GB G.Skill TridentZ Neo 3600MHz

I wouldn't be in the same network when starting the PC though. My understanding is that you would need the device that starts your PC to be in the same network as the computer, no?
No, if you configure you're router correctly you can use WOL not being in the same network.
I was using it like that. You need to forward correct ports and you need to bind IP and MAC of your computer in router.
