So I have been dreaming about building a custom computer for 2 years. I finally have the chance to do it, and I am going all out. I am 17 years old and just got $700 for selling my old computer + Christmas money. I have researched parts for about 4 months now and I think I am ready to start this. I am posting this for you to help me if you think there is a better part for my system. I already have the monitor, hard drive, dvd-tray, and OS
I will link every part to Newegg, but I am buying all the parts through Amazon (because I get free shipping), but it comes to around $640 before taxes, so roughly $690 with taxes
Parts:
CPU: Fx-8320 I don't want intel http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285

CASE: HAF 912 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233
PSU: Cooler Master 500W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031
RAM: Corsair Black (1x8gb) DDR3 1600mhz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233218
GPU: HIS 7850 2gb GDDR5 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161406
CPU COOLER: Antec H20 620 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835209049
Thanks!
I changed the 600 watts to the 500 watt version to save $20. I checked on http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine and with the cpu at 1.5 volts this system runs at 450 watts giving me 50 watts to overclock my gpu. Do you think 500 is enough or should i go 550 or 600?
