Hi everyone, after being an AMD FX 6200 user for 3 years (and having really issues with it)i've finally decided to upgrade my PC to the new Skylake CPUs.
Foremost, I was thinking about the i5 6600K but I finally opted for the i7 6700K, after a long research this is what my build would look at the moment:
CPU: Intel i7-6700K 4.0GHz
Motherboard: MSI Z170A GAMING M5
RAM: KINGSTON HYPERX FURY DDR4 2666 PC4-21300 16GB 2X8GB
COOLER: CORSAIR COOLING HYDRO SERIES H80I GT
PSU: CORSAIR RM650i 650W 80 Plus Gold Modular
My budget is roughly 1000$ without GPU, I already own an ASUS GTX 660 DirectCU II TOP so I would use this GPU until NVIDIA Pascal is released. also I own a Samsung EVO 840 250GB SSD and a 1TB Seagate HDD.
I just want a PC to last at least 5 years, and I think that this build will accomplish my desires, so if there's some advice or any appreciation about any component I would like you to tell me, thank you =)
