By only increasing the multiplier, I have it turbo clocked at 4.5 ghz on all 6 cores. Temps haven't increased yet. Using a hyper212 evo cooler. Does anyone have an idea of how high these chips can go? Im starting to be glad that I didnt go i3 after all.
That really depends on each chip. Remember, not every chip is the same, but I wouldn't try going above 4.8ghz. That still doesn't mean you should rip on the i3, when the i3 still outperforms your Oc'ed FX6300.

Im at 4.7 right now. i hit 5.1 as a max and it started to heat up. The fx6300 outperforms the i3 in every use i have for it, especially at these speeds. Its on the low end i5 levels now. Not a fanboy, just being realistic.
