Planning on building a gaming pc but im on a tight budget.

This is what im planning for my pc parts:

Amd fx 6300
Palit gtx 1050ti
Hyperx 8gb ram

Any suggestions? Should i stretch my budget for a ryzen 3 cpu? Or is it enough for some esports games, nba 2k18, and some triple a titles

Do yourself a favor and don't buy an FX. The Ryzen 3 is a much better choice. Not only is it a faster cpu but it has a much much better upgrade path. Even on a tight budget don't skimp on the PSU make sure it's a good model as a poor choice here can literally ruin the whole system.

(Language Edit), can you guys stop saying ryzen and i7-8700k for just one day? I have a similar build, its a great budget gaming PC, you can run gta 5 all high no problems. PUBG would also work. ArmA 3 would also being amazing all on high (even multiplayer). If you have anymore questions pm but your system is good for a tight budget.

If you had most of the parts already bought and paid for I might possibly agree with you a little.
But, it's 2017, and a totally new build. Why a completely new build on an old dead platform regularly beaten by intel's lowest current CPU, with no upgrade options?

If his budget is that tight, he wouldn't be able to afford any games to play on his build!
As Bignastyid alluded to, the FX is a deadend CPU with NO upgrade path, requiring DDR3(which is more expensive than DDR4!) The Ryzen build would be much more "future proof"( as much as that means, if anything) than any FX system.

It isn't just about performance. Sure it might work good for you, which is great. The only way I'd recommend FX is if you already have the parts.

AM3+ is a completely dead platform, nothing to upgrade to. Your far better off going with a Ryzen 3 or heck even a G4560 which will beat the FX 6300.

You have a better alternative? AM3 is a completely dead platform. There is zero reason to purchase in 2017 when Ryzen and the Intel 8000 series exist. Why would you pay good money for a 5 year old platform that has no upgrade path?
