Hi!

I've notice that when i switch on my PC the first time on the day, the temperature readings says: 255°C in CoreTemp, HWMonitor and AOD just doesnt shows any readings at all and i can feel a throttling because the FPS in games and delay in cpu needed tasks. But when i reboot the pc it just back to normal readings 28-32°C and the performance its good.

I've been searching a lot about this issue but i couldnt find any solution for this particular issue.

Yes if the cpu is reading temp its going to lock in to slow mode as its overheating state.

If you just changed your thermal paste then without removing the cpu then it is possible that it got lifted slightly out of the socket when you were pulling it off the heat sink. Your could have also gotten a small amount of thermal paste where it does not need to be. almost worth just redoing the thermal paste again and checking everything.

Oh, when i pull off the heat sink i verify the processor. See, i didnt apply the thermal paste right after take the heat sink off, cause the paste arrived 4 days after that. Anyways, i didnt notice any floppiness on the cpu.
Also, i used the pea way and no extra amount spreading arround the cpu is visible.
Could a some Bios setting? i've heard that the Power Settings could compromise performance and stability in some systems.
