I'm planning a build. I have these 2 CPU in mind which I may use. The cooler I will be using is the rajintek triton. Since I wil be mostly gaming, I have decided to go with AMD. Do tell me which one is better. Thx!

Btw some said that it is rumored for AMD to create a new 16 core FX CPU. Any luck if I wait for that to be released?

Umegadem,

The 9590 is an overclocked 8320 cpu. You can usually hit 5.0 and up on the 8370, but with the 9590, it is guarunteed to run at those higher clocks.

The new zen architecture is not expected before 2016, so go ahead with either one of those cpus.

If you disable power saving and stick the cpu at turbo, there isn't a game it can't handle.

Good luck!

For gaming i recommend intel because most games don't use more than 4 cores.
Also instead of 9590,spend more money on gpu because most game is gpu intensive.

So, Your doing a AMD build. Good man, I'd just go for the 9590 because it's manufactured to be at the higher clock speed while the 8370 you'd have to overclock which could lead to issues. In response to Jazguy Intel always isn't the best choice, For people like me who really cant afford to spend a pretty penny on a processor for slightly better FPS AMD is the choice.

The Swiftech H220x is going to be better I think. More reliable product, should be better cooling.

Do not cheap out on the motherboard, especially with the 9590. I have one and they are a real challenge for many to get stable even at stock settings, mine works fine however, but I can't get much more out of it than its stock settings.
