I am going to buy a ram for my system . Motherboard is Gigabyte H55M-UD2H and CPU is core i7 860 , my local dealer has these two kits :

1. - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM
Cas Latency 8
Timing 8-8-8-24
Voltage 1.5V

2. -G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL
Cas Latency 9
Timing 9-9-9-24
Voltage 1.5V

Both are exactly same priced.

Which one to choose ? I know that first one is better . But the dealer is saying it has lot of complains and some compatibility issues and i dont actually trust him.

Need opinion and reviews of you guys ....

You can go to the G.Skill web site and check to see if the memory and the motherboard are compatible. G.Skill tests their memory with a variety of motherboards and guarantees that the memory will work.

I took a look at the approved list of motherboards for both memory modules you listed. Your motherboard does not appear on either list:

I have a new Intel Core i7 860 system with an Asus Sabertooth 55i motherboard. I installed the new G.Skill ECO series DDR3 1600, low voltage memory:

I can't find the new memory module anywhere at the G.Skill web site. The web site is not up to date. 🙁
