Hi

As the title suggests could someone tell me if that ram is ok to go with that machine.

Pretty certain the T3500 only accepts Non ECC ram and i know only goes up to 1333Mhz so would that be a problem also? Does the machine have to have 3 x same set of ram in it eg - 3 x 4gb or 3 x 8gb and not just 2 x 4gb for example.

Just want to know as seen a great deal for the ram.

Thanks!!

Solution
It will take up to 4GB 1333 sticks in either ECC or non-ECC DRAM, and this is an older mobo (X58 so would prob look at the GSkill Ripjaws (original version, nort the X or Z lines) or even their value series the NT line of sticks. Most newer lines of DRAM is made with high density memory ICs which aren't generally compatible

Hi

Thank you for the reply. I went with the Crucial Ballistix Sport range in the end! Will hopefully sell on the 32GB of Gskill i just bought for £30 lol well thats if it arrives and is legit, seems far too good to be true at that price but we will see.

Thanks again for the advice. Bought 12gb in 4gb blocks so should get the old beast running nicely alongside the GTX 750 Ti card i have in it now!
