G400 or g500

What should I get ? The g500 is on sale at newegg but I've heard that te laser gets dirty and doesn't work so well?
Opinions?

using deathadder black edition but it kinda depends on your grip.

G500. i've used it for over a year now. 100% fine. be sure to use it on a mouse pad though ^_^
g500 uses laser. But, never once have I had an issue with it not responding.

This is my grip http://assets.razerzone.com/peripherals-guide/mouse/images/palmgrip-illus01.jpg i use the palm grip, im just wondering because ive heard things about the laser on the g500 right now i just have a regular old microsoft mouse im not sure if it is laser or optical? is optiac the ball? because it doesn't have a ball

i just use the wooden desk that i have the thing seated on. the deathadder is infra-red so you cant see it
