Hi!
I have GB motherboard GA-MA770DS3 rev1.0... I can't control Sys fan speed... It's spinning at max speed all the time... Can I control it somehow? I have tried with speedfan but no use...

When i connect fan on North Bridge fan connector i cant read the speed of the fan (and also cant control it's speed)...

The CPU fan connector works fine...

(I have newest bios)

Any solutions?

See page 25 of your manual - NB_FAN's pin 3 (normally, speed sense) has no connection on this header - therefore, no speed readout...

Go to "PC Health Status" page of BIOS -

set "CPU Smart FAN Control" to 'enabled'
set "CPU Smart FAN Mode" to 'PWM'
set "System Smart FAN Control" to 'enabled'
plug fan to be controlled into SYS_FAN1 header...

SYS_FAN1 and CPU_FAN are the only two headers with speed control - the remainder are always just 'on' full...

When I try to start ET5Pro i get message: Could not start GPCIDrv driver... I have Vista64 and i set compatibility mode to winxp SP2 for ET

Fan that i have connected to sys_fan1 is from graphic gard... It has 3pin connector...
Settings in BIOS:
---CPU Smart FAN Control" to 'enabled'
---CPU Smart FAN Mode" to 'PWM'
---System Smart FAN Control" to 'enabled'

Speed fan doesn't work with sys fan, in EasyTune 6 cant activate smart tab, cant start easy tune 5 pro becauze of driver error message...

Have no idea what now 🙁

The whole batch of 'EasyTunes' are just buggy pieces of trash - they're free, and they're worth exactly what you pay for them - nothing! You might ask Alfredo Milani Comparetti, who writes speedfan, about support/bugs here:

or ask Janus Yeh, the GB tech rep at TweakTown here:
