Hello guys.
So I recently bought the following system:
i5-2500k Sandy Bridge
Gigabyte PA65-UD3-b3
DDR3 Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz CMP4GX3M2C1600C7 (2GBx2)
ATI HD6950 2GB
CM Silent pro Gold 700W
Win7 Home Premium 64bit

The system runs fine.
The problem occurs during gaming. Whenever I start playing a 3d intensive game (like Bad Company 2, Crysis 2, Dirt 2 etc) I get a freeze with a the "bzzzzz" sound loop, followed by a BSOD related to a dxgmmms1.sys.
Sometimes I just get the freeze and need to force off the system.
I browsed every forum and tried every kind of solution:
-Updating drivers (after cleaning with Driver Sweeper in safe mode).
-Checked ram for errors with memtest, nothing there.
-Reinstalled directx.
-Updated video drivers.
-Updated mobo chipset drivers.
-Fresh install of Win7, but the problem is still there.

None of these things worked for me...
Today, while browsing the Gigabyte official website, I discovered that my ram model is not mentioned in the memory support list..

Could this be the cause of my problems?

Ok, this is one thing I haven't done yet. Actually I've never flashed a mobo bios, and I'm a bit scared because I keep reading that if you mess with it you can end ******* up the whole system...
If there's something else I could do before that it would be better :D

Update:

Tried 1 stick of ram in every socket = no crash. I did the same thing with the other stick, and no crash...
I encouter crashes in the case that both sticks are connected in dual channel.
I'm beginning to think that the mobo is faulty..... :/

I have the same problem.My mobo Gigabyte P55A-UD3R with OCZ3G16004GK.I updated bios, tried many dram timing, voltage but i cant fix it.I have tried to fix it 3 months.When I waching movie (1080p.) or gaming suddenly freezing system and bizzz sound loop, Close the keyboad, cpu, mouse lamps and . I cant find WHERE or WHAT is the problem ? Mobo faulty - Ram Compatibility ? Did you fix it ?

Note : My friend also has this problem.His mobo Gigabyte P55A-UD3.

This week I'll try different rams, maybe there's something wrong with the dual channel support...
Ram might be faulty (I hope so, if it's not then I'll have to change mobo... :S)

I setted my ram with correct spec ( OCZ 1600 mhz Cl8 ). But system freezee sometimes like yours. I updated bios, changed psu, but i cant it fix it. So i will buy new ram or mobo . I was thinking buy your rams, but you also have freezing problem with corsair. I dont know, Motherboard Faulty or Ram Compatability . :(

I already did that, thank you anyway. I'm waiting for the new ram, if the problem persists then it's the mobo...(I hope not).

Have you tried your mobo with new rams ?????

I think the problem is that, GIGABYTE PA65-UD3-B3 does not support 1600 Mhz memories. It can handle max 1333 mhz RAMs.

I think that's not related to RAM frequency, because if you use a 1600 MHz RAM and your mobo support 1333 MHz your RAM just works at 1333 MHz.
I hope that was not mobo problem because I'm going to buy GA-PA65-UD3-B3 ;)
