GA Windforce 3X - R9 280X - overclocking question

Hi,

I recently bought Gigabyte Windforce 3X R9 280X 3GB (used and Battlefield 4 edition card). Thinking about overclocking it. Now have some questions:

Is that possible? And how far I can push overclocking and using which software? (Came back to overclocking after a long long time so forgot about everything)

Also is it already overclocked?

MSI afterburner tends to be the GPU overclocking software of choice for many, but you can use many different programs (like gigabyte OC guru).
