Hello all,
Just got a brand new z68xp-ud4 and I'm having a couple problems.

First, the mobo refuses to recognize the video card in the pciex16 slot. In the bios, I have the onboard VGA set to disable when pcie card is present, but the display still only comes out the onboard hdmi port. I've tried with two different cards, and get the same problem. Both cards are lower-end and don't require any connection from the psu.
The first card is an MSI-power Radeon N210-MD512D3H/LP. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127550
The second is an ATI Radeon X700 Pro. http://www.amazon.com/ATI-Radeon-X700-Pro-256/dp/B0009B0GEU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321492556&sr=8-1
The ATI card has fans that spin up and everything on boot, but nothing shows up on the display.

The second problem is that whenever I put memory in the third dimm slot, the computer refuses to boot. The fans all spin up for about a second, then powers down. It does that a few times. I've tried rearranging which tick of ram goes where, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. It also doesn't matter whether I have ram in the fourth dimm slot or not, it still won't boot.

Is there a problem with my board? Que pasa?

Thanks for your help guys.

I just re-inspected the cpu socket and it looks like a few pins are bent and/or broken. I tried bending the pins back into place using jeweler tweezers and a magnifying glass, but as I said, it looks like a few pins are broken.

I'm returning the motherboard, but my question is whether these issues are in fact related to the bent pins and not to an inherent incompatibility, or some other cause.
