[citation][nom]molo9000[/nom]What about the audio?[/citation]

Well, it probably works the same way as hdmi (audio+video on the same cable), specially if the wireless dongle is to be used in the hdmi port.

[citation][nom]coalminer071[/nom]cable is still fastest wireless would be bottlenecked[/citation]

Bottlenecks assume a greater need than required. If we can wirelessly send data according to spec, there is no bottleneck.

Just need wireless audio, and power. I'm not really into wireless technology. However, when completely wireless builds are available, I will take interest. For now though, I'll just stick to my wires.

I don't get it - if you want WHDI why constrain yourself to a GTX 460 by getting it built into the card. Why not simply integrate a separate WHDI device (or use an external like the ASUS WiCast) then you can buy that 580 or whatever you want... ???

To alterseekers, WHDI is currently superior to WiDi by the way although vs 2.0 will bring it upto 1080p (WHDI already has), but then it will still be waiting for a new receiver as push2tv will be obsoleted - WiDi / pushTV also experiences latency so OK for movies but no good for gaming / surfing)
