Hello,

Recently, my PC stop working, it stop on "starting windows" screen, I can access windows through safe mode, I've tried updating all drivers, but that didn't help 🙁 , so, the last solution I have is format the PC and re-install windows. When I've finish installing the new windows, the graphic card drivers wasn't install and I can login normally, once i've downloaded the graphic card drivers and install it, the problem appear again. What is the problem in this case ???

if the mb chipset drivers are loaded and you installed the new 29x drivers then you could have some bad ram or bad gpu chip.
have you tried turning off the pc and reseating the video card?? sometime the video card over time walks out.

Thank you for your quick reply,

Yes, acctuly I've reseating the Rams (have 2 slots) and the graphic card too, but that didn't help. Again, I can login using safe mode without any problem.

Like I said, I can access windows through safe mode, so, I've went to device manager, clicked on "Display adapters", it give me "NVIDIA GeForce GT 430", double click on this device, in the device status text box "status is not available for this device when windows is running in safe mode", this is in general tab, in Driver tab, the driver date is 8/3/2011, driver version is 8.17.12.8026, in Detials tab, I've select Problem code in the combo box, that gave me a value which is "00000000", selecte the address, it gave me "00000000" value.

I've uninstall the graphic card drivers, the system login normally without going to safe mode. That's really weird...

Hi,

I've decided to buy a new one, which of these two graphic card would you prefer:
1. GeForce GTX 560 TI.
2. GeForce GTX 590 ????

and which GPU manufacter would you prefer? I've experienced Galaxy and it's bad when it comes to quality, so, can you suggest a good GPU manufactor???

Thx in advance.

Are you mad? A GTX590 isn't a card that one should desire, it doesn't perform as well as one would be lead to believe. Sucks lots of power and two gtx570 will cream it. A gtx580 isn't as great of a card when you learn of the issues that plague GF110 cards such as the weak power vrm phases. The gtx560ti is a safer bet as it is a lot less likely to fail compared to other cards in the Fermi lineup.

I've decided to buy a new one, which one of these graphic cards would you prefer?
N56044813I Gigabyte GTX560 TI 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-E HDMI 448 Cores 320 bit Retail
N560OC1GI Gigabyte GTX560 TI 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E HDMI OC Retail
N560UD1GI Gigabyte GTX560 TI 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E HDMI ULTRA DURABLE Retail

would you prefer another one that is better than this card?

Thank you
