Hi I'm building a gaming pc for the first time and I'm not sure which GPU I should get, I'm looking for a maximum price around 1800 euro's. I don't really know which GTX 970 (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte) would be the best either. My friend helped me with it but he isn't sure either, so I would love some help.
This is what I currently have on my list :
Intel Core i5-4690K Boxed
Asus Z97-DELUXE
Asus STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 / MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G
Seagate Desktop HDD ST3000DM001, 3TB
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
Seasonic G-series 550 watt PCGH Edition
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

I don't have a case yet and I don't mind the looks too much, but I might want to try GTX 970 SLI.
I already have a mouse a keyboard and a monitor (which is 60hz, 1080p) and I would like to know if getting a new monitor with higher Hz is worth it/ better if I'm buying SLI or not.
Sorry for any bad English!
Thanks in advance!
Mike

First of all 2 way sli is way overkill for 1080p gaming, I would invest into a higher resolution monitor or a more powerful single graphics card like the 980. As more what gpu to get, both are great cards so it boils down to your personal preference. For the case, you would want to go for an atx midtower so you have plenty of space for expansion if you do plan on sli. Hope this helps
