So since a few days after playing games for a short period of time game would crash and then shut down and after I started the game again it would give me 30fps from the 100fps that I would get but after restarting the PC it would go back to 100fps but would crash in about 5-10mins again.
Games- Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Siege / Dota2/ CS:GO.
Mostly experiencing this issue on Tom Clancy.
Temps of GPU go upto 90 degrees while gaming and CPU stays at 45-50 degrees

GPU:
Asus HD 7850 2GB

CPU:
i7 4770K

RAM:
8GB Kingston BluBird

I dont think PSU would be an issue since I wasnt getting drops before

well my gpu has been at 90 temps since quite some time
the problem started just a couple of days back and temps have been that high since wayyyyy before but I will take overheating into consideration
I even updated my gpu drivers to the latest version

Well just because it was working fine at high temps earlier doesn't mean it will continue to do so - the constant high temps could have damaged things permanently, thus causing the issue. Try setting a custom fan curve or just running the fan at higher speeds by default.

So i did everything u said but temps are still that high
Issue now is that when i play the temps are at 90 degrees and fps is around 120-130 but when fps drops temps go down to 50 and stay there till fps remains at 25-30

Try running, if possible, your GPU in a friend's PC and see if the temps are the same. Maybe even try running it on an open test bench. If you're still getting high temps, your GPU and/or GPU cooler are probably damaged. It's best you take it to a nearby hardware store and get it checked for faults in the cooler. If you don't want to do it, best you return it if it's still under warranty.
