Good morning
I have been having problems with my PC over the last month. Upon further inspection, I have identified that my PC doesnt like my GPU to run over 80 degrees. Idle temperature is 55 degrees C, under stress it reaches 80, at which point any game crashes to desktop.. sometimes BDOS.
Basically my whole PC is brand new... apart from my PSU (which is around 5 years old). I have a temporary fix, which is using a 3rd party program to lock fps at 60 to ensure my gpu load and temp stay below 80 (this feels awful as I have a 144hz monitor).. but there is no crashing. I have a feeling that perhaps my PSU is causing problems with powering the GPU under load.. but would love to know if you have any other solutions?
Other things that I am going to try:
Specs are:
Cheers Tim

Other things that I am going to try:
- re applying thermal paste on GPU
- using afterburner to set custom fan speeds
Specs are:
GALAX GTX1060 gb (factory OC)
Ryzen 1700 (no OC)
16 gb ddr4 ram (3200)
2 SSD (one operating system, one for games)
PSU - 750W Enermax Modular 82+
