Game freezes, sound is running, only freezes once after turning my pc then after closing the game its all good pls help

So i recently updated windows 10 to 1803 and after turning on my pc and playing a game for an hour it would freeze, sound was running and i had to manualy close it with task manager. After that i could play games all day long and it wouldnt freeze until i turned off and then turned off my pc the other day, it only freezes the picture in every game once after turning my pc on.

updates can be problematic, especially huge ones like that, and if your system has been around a long while, it makes matters worse. I would recommend a CLEAN install of windows 10 via usb (only have windows drive hooked up while installing win 10), delete ALL partitions and let windows install fresh, then get your drivers and try it.

you can download and install the Windows Media Creation tool to create build 1803 to am 8GB usb stick you can then boot off of.

okay thanks but i think il just wait for another windows update and il see then.

i, personally had to reinstall fresh when 1803 came out as well. it's far faster than looking for a needle in a haystack of changes.
