game freezes

when i try to play a game, after about 5 minutes the graphics go wierd, like smudgey, then it just freezes. the sound kinda freezes too repeating ityself like a scratched cd. is this a sound crad problem or a graphics problem?

You might want to list your system specs, and what games you're having this problem with.

actually i worked out the prob. my cpu fan has stopped...urgh!!!

I hope you don't have an AMD processor. Your system will go up in flames (literally). Good thing you spotted that.
