Modding Skyrim and the Community Shaders mod is reporting that I only have ~10gb of vram available and I am inclined to believe it is only utilizing that based on the occasional stuttering I get from draw calls while turning etc
Problem is I have a 6700xt with 12gb of vram available, and every other tool/monitoring software I can think of reports the full 12gb of vram with only about ~1gb (10gb total) in use by other various apps on my machine
The official support for CS was pretty stumped by this and the only answer I got was that the remaining ~2gb was reserved by some phantom process holding onto the vram and not reporting it in any way which I am extremely doubtful of, but maybe someone can clarify if/how that could be possible
I am not even sure what I can do to begin troubleshooting this but so far ive ensured my drivers are up to date, tried different versions of the shader mod, tried dxvk all of which had no impact. Though interestingly I have noticed less draw call stuttering on vulkan, could be placebo though.
