Hi everyone,

I am looking for a gamer config that will fit within the Bitefenix Prodigy Mini atx case.

I was wondering about this config since I'll use it for gaming and photoshop.

Will the i7 or i5 will do the trick?

Not sure about the motherboard and the cooling system for the i5 since îll overclock it to 4.2Ghz

If you could correct my mistake that would be great.

Here my config so far:

Case:
Bitefenix Prodigy Mini ITX

So a Z87 motherboard to overclock and the i5k will do the trick?

For the Psu which one is the best deal?
And the watercooling is enough to cool down the processor?

Thanks

Yes, a Z87 mobo and the 4670K would do you well.

I would go with the TX 750, as the TX series is more reliable than the CX series, and it leaves you some room for expansion.

Water cooling may be enough, but it depends on the cooler.

I was thinking about the Z87i deluxe motherboard but do i really need that one since i'll be using a 3rd generation processor?

For the watercooling i was thinking about the Zalman LQ320 Ultimate Liquid CPU.

Thanks for your answers.

Any advice on the ram?
I can get 16gb with other brand for the price of 8Gb of G skill xl series ripjaws x series.

You listed the 4770K and 4670K as your options for a CPU. They are fourth generation, Haswell processors.

You might as well get a Corsair H80i instead. Performs better for $10 more.

What other kit of RAM are you looking at?
