I have an X34 (display port) , two Asus 24" (display port) and an older Acer 24" (HDMI).

I just added the two Asus, I was running 3 with the aforementioned two Acers and old ancient Samsung. Since adding these two I can no longer play games at 3440x1440 on my X34. The resolution is maxxing out at 1920x1080 on all games.

I'm running a EVGA GTX 1080 Hybrid FTW Edition, complete stock.

I posted this in the card forum last night, as a last resort I'm putting it here also, hoping someone can shed some light as I have no idea what the issue could be. I use all these monitors independently I should have no issues running games at the native resolution on my X34, I just did it a few days ago for over a year.

Are you certain? I've ran it before with 2 1080 monitors and also once with a 4k Samsung and the X34 without issue.

It doesn't seem to break a sweat for anything I throw at it.

It's also still running native 3440x1440 on the desktop, and the first game I tried was over 10 years old, and ran full 21:9 resolution just fine two days ago.

I originally had the X34 connected via display port, with a 24" Acer (1920 x 1080 - 2008 model) connected via HDMI and an older Samsung 27" (1920 x 1080 connected via DVI.

I had the Acer mounted above the X34 and the Samsung next to it. I was able to run 3340x1440 on the X34 and had no issue running another game on the Samsung at 1080 while still playing at 21:9 on the X34 and having a web browser above on the old Acer.

I've since purchased two ASUS VE248Q 24" monitors connected via display port. They are now mounted above the X34. I removed the Samsung completely and rotated the old Acer (via HDMI) sideways and mounted it to the left of the X34.

I had the X34 plugged in first, then I plugged in the old Acer and then the new Asus. They all turned on and worked. When I fired up the first game (Warcraft) it was stretched to 1920x1080 and had no option to go any larger when I've been playing it that way for several months.

I will need to see when I get off work tonight. I was just looking for some ideas while I'm away to try when I return. It was towards the end of the night when I completed my additions and saw it wasn't working.

All I had time to try was check drivers again and swap display ports for each monitor on the card. Neither of those worked.

Oh no, I appreciate any assistance, I will give that a shot tonight. Thank you.

Do you believe the above suggestion is a possibility? The 1080 can't run that many monitors for some reason? I guess I assumed it would with all the display connections and ability of the card.

Fantastic! I assumed it did but had yet to lock down specifics.

I wonder if certain ports on the card only go to a max resolution size? Something I'll figure out tonight I suppose.
