Hello, I just built a new PC and am having issues while playing games. After about 30 minutes of play my game will crash/freeze my PC and the screen will fill with horizontal lines. I have the newest BIOS, have tried multiple GPU drivers including the beta driver currently out, torture tested my CPU with Prime95, and have ran diagnostic tests on my RAM and HDD. All of those tests passed without errors. My PC specs are:

CPU - Intel I7 6700k
MOBO - ASRock Z170 Extreme6
GPU - MSI R9 380 4GB
RAM - DDR4 G Skill Ripjaw V series 16GB
PSU - EVGA 750W 80Plus Gold rated PSU
HDD - Seagate Hybrid SSHD 2TB

If any more information is needed I will gladly supply it. I don't have a screenshot of my screen but did find a similar picture online of what my screen looks like when the game freezes here

I have only had this for 7 days and am thinking about RMAing the GPU but I thought I would ask here first. Thanks for all the help in advance!

Solution
My guess would be the GPU, if you haven't already you can try Furmark or Heaven-Unigine to stress test it, as you already tested the other parts.
I ran Unigine Heaven for about 30 minutes and everything ran OK without any freezing. Then, when I closed out of Unigine, My PC crashed with the blue screen that stated "a problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer".

This is the first time I got this crash error. I am not sure if the GPU caused this error or if it was some other piece of hardware failure. Even though my RAM check came back without errors, could the RAM still be the problem, or is it more than likely the GPU?

I just used Windows Memory Diagnostics tool. I will try Memtest86 now. I also wanted to post that I put my old Radeon 5870 into my PC and ran Unigine (although I had to lower quality) but it did not blue screen or have any errors before, during, or after the benchmark testing. That makes me lean towards GPU hardware issue, but I will give this MemTest86 a try before I 100% conclude it is my new GPU.

Thanks for all the help. I have finished 1 Pass of the Memtest86 and so far 0 errors. I am going to let it finish all 4 passes and if it stays 0 errors then I am certain it is the GPU.
