Games crash without error message

I've been having some trouble lately with my games crashing. I've tried playing games like BF1 and overwatch, I could go about 5-10 mins when the game suddenly freezes and then automatically exits to the desktop, with no error message. Monitoring temps, they are fine, CPU was around 55c and GPU around 65c when the games freeze. I've built this rig about a year back and only started to have problems recently. When I go into event viewer, I see there's an application error (Event Id 1000), as well as DistributedCOM error (Event id 10016), at the same time when the games crash. There also an ACPI warning (Even Id 15) a few minutes before. Not sure what these mean though.

I've downloaded DDU and reinstalled the latest GPU drivers, I've also run Memtest86 and had no errors. My CPU is OC to 3.8 @1.26V and ram to 3200MHZ.

16gb 3200 ram
Gtx 1080ti
Asus crosshair vi Hero

Yes, it's only in games. I just ran it and it stopped at 30mins, saying there was an error. I'm not sure what the error is though. I also upped the voltage to 1.3 before running the test, thought it was too low maybe.

Get rid of all the programs associated with nvidia drivers firstly.
Install those: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/134708/en-uk
Are u sure that you do have all the programs needed to run those games ? DirectX, Microsoft Redist, NET Framework?
Push your Windows Update (There were some problems such as this one in early Win 10 builds).

Yep, all of those are up to date. I increased the CPU voltage to 1.35, ran occt for 2 hours without any errors then proceeded to play some demanding games for a bit without any crashes. I'm guessing the voltage was the reason for the crashes. I'll give it a couple of more days and I'll see what happens.
