Question Games crashing after overclock ?

I recently overclocked my i7-2600k to 4.4ghz from 3.4ghz with a 1.350v and along with the ram from patriot viper 3 ddr3-1600mhz to 1866mhz at 1.500v and so far every game has crashed after a minute of being on it. Motherboard is an asus maximus iv gene-z. Any solutions?

Hey sorry for the late reply. It seems like my mobo doesn't like it when I overclock the ram for whatever reason since it stopped crashing when I put it back in stock speeds. Right now I've gotten my 2600k to 4.7ghz stable (may try 5ghz) and my ram at 1600mhz which is stock speed. My system is
i7-2600k 4.7ghz
Asus maximus iv gene-z mobo
16gb Patriot viper 1600mhz
GTX 1060gb
Corsair h100x aio
Segotep 650w psu 80+ gold

how are temps?

Temps were horrible lol. I was using a Rosewill rcx-z300 cooler which is <Mod Edit>. Warzone got to 85°c. Exited the game immediately and bought me a corsair h100x. Temps are now around 55°c max while gaming. I also overclocked the cpu to 4.7ghz stable. For whatever reason though if I fiddle around with the ram at all the system doesn't boot. Any solutions?

That Patriot RAM is already "overclocked" as your CPU only supports up to DDR3-1333 with JEDEC voltages. It might go further with extra dram and memory controller voltage, but generally Sandy Bridge didn't have a memory controller good enough to go much further than 1600MT/s. Ivy Bridge improved in that regard. Try tightening timings instead.

Damn lol. I thought the 2600k was an ivy bridge. Guess I got it mixed up with a 3770k. I think I'll leave the ram as is. You think a 3770k is worth upgrading to?
