Question games on retropie

So, i got Retropie on the pi4 going, installed all the emulators from the manage main package menu, all install from via binary.
I went to the Run-Command configuration from the main i enabled <Launch menu and Launch menu art)
I got that solved no more errors poping up when trying to launch a game.
But now When i try to launch a game, i looks as if its loading the game, but seconds after i hit the button to take me to the game, it returns me to the menu.

This can happen if there isn't enough ram to run the game or if the emulator needs the bios files of the original hardware but they aren't there, did you try with small games that don't need any bios like for nes/snes?

Could it also be that they in the wrong rom folder.
I started putting the rom games in rom folder.
I was putting them is in (Extension) location that the file is in like .iso/.adf .adz .dms .exe .rp9 .zip instead of putting the roms in the rom folders like Atari 2600 / 3do/ Atari 5200, 8-Bit Series/ Atari7800

When you scan directories to get games into a list it only loads up compatible games and when you load in individual games it asks you what core to use so it shouldn't matter.
You can also go into retroarch menu and bind a game to the core you want to use.
