Hi,
I've had this problem for a while and I just can't find a fix or the problem causing it. This issue has persisted through an entire new PC, every part replaced. A few examples would be on WoW, when I press cleanup bags or open the achievement tab, my game will freeze for 0.5 - 1 second, swapping Warframes and Weapons on Warframe can freeze my game for up to 2 seconds, theres alot more I can list but they're all roughly the same length of freeze and are all minor but very irritating. I can't say for sure what the issue is but to me it feels like a delay rendering the image change to my display and freezes until it is ready?
PC:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820X CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3600 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
RAM: 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengence (4x8GB) 2666MHz
GPU: NVIDIA1080 GeForce GTX 1080 8GB
Motherboard: ASUS® PRIME X299-A: ATX, USB 3.1, SATA 6 GB/s
SSD's: 2x 500GB Samsung 860 EVO
Power Supply: CORSAIR 650W VS SERIES™ VS-650 POWER SUPPLY
Monitor: asus vg248qe 144hz
Steps i've already tried:
Sending the PC back to PCSPECIALIST (this was in the first month of having it back in August 2018) they replaced the 16gb of ram and sent it back, still the same issue.
Increasing my RAM from 16gb to 32gb with the same speed and brand, did not work.
Disabling intel turbo boost (has been active by default), this didn't fix these issues but it did fix Sekiro for me so was then able to enjoy that.
Swapping power outlets, this did nothing.
Replacing my DVI-I Cable to my monitor, this did nothing obviously.
Clean boots, multiple window's re installations, didn't help.
Theres probably a few more steps i've tried but I can't remember sorry, if anyone can throw some more recommendations or if you need any more info/diagnostics please let me know and what i'd need to get this information for you.
